Q: How is the site safe for my child?
A: Through 24/7 Real Life Monitoring, as well you the parent, monitoring:
1. A Parent/s or Guardians must approve every friend their child communicates with.
2. E-mails/Report Cards are sent to parent/s or guardians outlining who the child was communicating with and what topics the child is interested in.
3. ALL members over 16 yrs. old will be marked "ADULT". The only way an ADULT can become a member. Is by being approved by an existing child's parent.
Q: What content will my child see on this site?
A: GromSocial strongly supports "NO Bullies and Saying
NO to Drugs and Smoking." These messages, along with
other positive messages, are heavily published within
our site. We believe in helping kids grow above the influence
of peer pressure.
Q: How does the site stop undesirables from entering the site?
A: No system is fail proof but GromSocial makes it very difficult
for these people to enter.
Step One: Fill out a membership form and enter a valid e-mail address, home address and phone number.
Step Two: Electronic signature agreeing to the terms of the site.
Step Three: Get a current adult member and child member of GromSocial to approve you.
Q: Does the site have strict policies against bullying and cursing.
A: YES, no cursing allowed on GromSocial. In fact, our custom software
will not allow children to type curse words. Anti-Bullying messages
are throughout the site. Parents/ Guardian and children can
unanimously report bullies to a private GromSocial account.
